Golden colored dragonfly - Sympetrum vicinum

Golden colored dragonfly - Sympetrum vicinum
Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, USA
July 19, 2018
Sitting on a plant in our man-made pond.

Moved
Moved from Dragonflies.

Sympetrum vicinum
Immature Autumn Meadowhawk. The yellow legs, yellow sides to the thorax, and lack of black markings on the side of the abdomen can be used to separate this from other Meadowhawks. Can't get a good enough look at the abdomen tip to be sure of its sex but it looks like a male.

Meadowhawk
Sympetrum sp. I doubt if it can be identified to species with this photo. Pale color and shininess of wings suggest that it is still teneral which makes it even more difficult.
