Size: Around 2mm ? Maybe 3
OK, I know it sounds crazy, but...
I have seen this Mirid twice. Once in Marlton, NJ and once in Rancocas Woods, NJ.
See the other one here... -- Now here is a Yucca plant bug (Halticotoma valida)...

There is a native yucca in NJ. Yucca filamentosa common name Adam's Needle, Silkgrass, Spanish Bayonet. http://www.littoralsociety.org/userfiles/doccenter/NJ%20Native%20plant%20list.pdf

Halticotoma valida does have a fairly wide distribution http://research.amnh.org/pbi/catalog/references.php?id=1035

Biology of the Plant Bugs (Hemiptera: Miridae): Pests, Predators, Opportunists By Alfred George Wheeler (Page 152) lists Halticotoma valida as preying on Spanish Bayonet.
