Lustrous Copper - Lycaena cupreus
Wright's Lake, El Dorado County, California, USA

Size: 2/3 inch
While returning to my RAV4 at Wright's Lake, I observed this small colorful butterfly. Once I returned home I search Glassberg's Butterflies through Binoculars of the West and determined that this was a male Lustrous Copper, a lifer for me.
