I agree with Jason on this, a Libellula but
I'd lean towards Libellula croceipennis. Another great resource for dragonflies, especially Texas dragonflies, is http://odonatacentral.org.

Libellula saturata?
Crocothemis doesn't have the extensive color on the wings and isn't found in Texas as far as I know. Pretty sure this is L. saturata, although I don't feel comfortable saying it's not L. croceipennis.
