Habitat a slow-flowing creek in a high elevation boggy wetland dominated by leatherleaf, sedges, sphagnum and highbush blueberry. Adjacent forest mixed hemlock and deciduous northern hardwoods. Individual found floating in the creek, apparently not flying well due to damaged left hind wing.
