Mayfly Two Tailed Male Spinner - Rhithrogena - male

Mayfly Two Tailed Male Spinner - Rhithrogena - Male
Gardiner, Montana, Park County, Montana, USA
July 20, 2018
Size: body about hook size 16
I get lost in the key for this two-tailed male spinner. Anyone recognize it? Thanks. It was very yellow in the body as a dun, like a sulfur, but bigger, long penes and dark eyes.

Rhithrogena
Hi Verne-

Nice photo. I believe this male imago to be of genus Rhithrogena.

Rhithrogena
Mr. Rohrbeck,

Thank you for your time and interest in identifying this mayfly. I was not close in my ID. It is appreciated that experts like you will help the mystified like me.

Male Genitalia
You are certainly welcome. Incidentally, the male genitalia evident in your photo are its claspers, not its penes. :-)
