Dragonfly - Miathyria marcella

Dragonfly - Miathyria marcella
The Woodlands, Montgomery County, Texas, USA
November 11, 2007
These are flying commonly now in our area. They zig-zag in the air, apparently eating small flying insects on the wing, and never land. Wanting to ID them, we finally resorted to the net. I know they aren't pretty pictures, and we'll be happy to frass after we hopefully find some ID. Can anyone help? Thanks!
