Size: 9 mm
Collected beating fairly fresh, fallen Pinus ponderosa (estimate less than 1 month old). Distinguished from other species of Eutrichillus by the following combination of characters: erect setae present only on elytra; gena longer than lower eye lobe above it; antennae with basal segments biannulate; elytra with distinct, angulate, lateral vitta behind middle.
