I don't need this sphinx identified I just wanted to add this picture in case this Caterpillar hasn't been added to North Carolina yet. I was wondering though if anyone thought this Caterpillar is ready to pupate or not. Thank you for future responses.

It doesn't show any of the color changes (often reddish tones) often associated with cessation of feeding. Probably safest to supply appropriate food plant until this happens or it gets incredibly restless or even looks 'sick'.
