It's built like a male Orb Weaver
though we can't see the palps and don't recognize the species. But that's where we would look.

Actually we don't know that it is male
we were only trying to say it looked like one. We usually look for the enlarged palps to confirm gender. That being said, there is just something in the proportions of the creature that say male to us. It will be interesting to see what other folks think. But we wouldn't say male without seeing those enlarged palps. We just thought it was a good place for you to search while you wait to hear from a true spider expert!
