Glyphidocera?

Glyphidocera?
Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, USA
July 27, 2018
Size: ~6 mm TL
Found near my back door security light. I have been focusing on Gelechioidea, and the closest thing I have found so far is Glyphidocera.

Might alternatively be Sceptea aequepulvella
Moved from ID Request.

I think you are correct
I was really surprised that you may have gotten the correct species on this. With no images of S. aequepulvella on BugGuide and only one pinned image on MPG, I probably would never have considered it. After looking at several mounted specimens, I could see where this species is closer to my moth than anything else I could find. There is one photo of S. aequepulvella in a resting position at the Barcoding of Life site and it looks exactly like the moth I found - http://www.boldsystems.org/pics/LILLB/IMG_4505%2B1314121428.JPG. Perhaps you already saw that image. If that is a verified image of S. aequepulvella, then I think the image I posted may be S. aequepulvella as well.
