Huge Dead Beetle

Huge Dead Beetle
The Lagunas, San Diego County, California, USA
July 21, 2018
Size: about 2 inches
I'm guessing this is some kind of long-horned beetle. I wish I could have seen it alive or at least in a more complete state. It was huge -- around 2 inches long.

Probably Trichocnemis
Can you provide a length estimate and/or a straight-on dorsal shot?

Spined Woodborer (Trichocnemis spiculatus)
ianswift on iNaturalist identifies it as Trichocnemis spiculatus.

Trichocnemis
I added a length estimate. Unfortunately, I didn't get a straight-on dorsal shot.

The size is right for Trochocnemus
But without a straight on dorsal shot, it will have to be someone more experienced than I. I only have a single specimen of one of the species.

Trochocnemus
Ok. Thanks.
