leafhopper - Idiocerus nervatus

leafhopper - Idiocerus nervatus
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
November 12, 2007
Size: ~4mm

Moved tentatively
Moved from Idiocerus.

Idiocerus sp.
I was trying to save this one, but right after I took it's photo in the house, it flew off and I couldn't find it.
I collected it at the edge of a grass field. I'll see if I can find another.

Idiocerus
Not one I know - it's similar to I. nervatus, but the hind wing veins don't show through the front wings as darkly, and the thorax is patterned instead of green. Watch for more of them, see if you can save a specimen or two, and find out (if you can) where they are coming from.
