mini dragonfly - Leucorrhinia frigida
southern Adirondack Mts., Saratoga County, New York, USA
July 27, 2018
Size: estimate length ~32 mm
Time 16:00, temp lo 80s, sunny & quite humid. Photos were taken in an open area surrounded by mixed forest. There is a year-round, fast-flowing stream about 30 meters away and some marshy areas farther off.

Female Leucorrhinia frigida
Based on the markings and wing veination, I would say female Frosted Whiteface.
