Chrysobothris ID help please - Buprestis lyrata
Thousand Lakes Wilderness , California, USA

Size: 2.5cm
Was backpacking in the Tousand Lakes Wilderness during our day hikes the beetle flew next to me. Thete was another one but it flew elsewhere. The area we were in had a fire a few years ago and there are many dead and dying trees.
