Odontota scapularis? - Odontota scapularis

Odontota scapularis? - Odontota scapularis
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
August 3, 2018
I was photographing a fly visiting Apios americana blossoms in a marsh adjacent to Bogus Run, and noticed this beetle crawling on a cattail's leafy stem. It seems a good match for Odontota scapularis, and the association with a population of Apios americana is consistent with that. The orange femora are visible. Submitted for confirmation and because there isn't one for Indiana on BG.
