Discothyrea testacea - Female

Collected in a buried pipe trap(1) that was set from 13-April through 5-August 2018. The trap was set in a relatively dry oak forest with coarse-grained sandy/clay/mica-rich soil.
The trap was baited with a cotton wick soaked in oil from a sardine can.
This is the first VA record for the species.
