I am pretty sure this is a female Banded Pennant but I will wait for confirmation before moving it to: "Celithemis fasciata".

I seem
to be having a terrible problem with gender identification of Dragonflies, lol. I am aware that many juvenile males have female body coloration and despite that, I seem to be remarkably inept at correctly identifying which is which. I guess I need to look closer at the working end of them, lol.

We've gathered some of the images
which show gender onto the INFO pages of several of the dragonfly species on which we have worked such as Erythemis, L. saturata, Pachydiplax, and Plathemis. Hope some of those will help with knowledge of those working ends!

I will
definitely take a close look asap. I hope that will help me improve my success rate, lol.

We agree with the ID
but disagree with the gender. Those claspers look male to us.

I have
removed the gender designation for this specimen.

Yep
I think your right (but I've not had the pleasure of seeing this species yet myself...).

Very nice specimen.
