I am pretty sure this is a female Golden-winged Skimmer but will wait for confirmation before moving it to:
"Libellula auirpennis"
.
I am not sure what is being eaten.

I am
glad I waited. Apparently this is a young male Yellow-sided Skimmer and not a female Golden-winged Skimmer. If this is confirmed I will move it to:
"Libellula"

We didn't realize that you had posted two
We would agree except for the gender. Those are definitely male abdominal claspers.
Are these two images of the same dragon? If so they should both be tagged, and then linked.

changed the gender designation and linked the 2 images of this specimen. It will be cool if I have added new data to the guide.
