Yes, dragonflies are really spectacular looking.
Do you know of a good book or web site for identifying dragonflies (besides Bug Guid of course). I'd like to learn more about them.

Odonata Central has lots of photos, etc. at: https://www.odonatacentral.org/
For books, Paulsen's Dragonflies and Damselflies of the East is very good. For Eastern Ontario, where I live, The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Algonquin Park and the Surrounding area by Jones, et al. is excellent. It should cover most of your species, too.
