Unknown Looper caterpillar -
Protoboarmia porcelaria
cass County, Texas, USA
November 18, 2007
Size: 8 - 10 mm
I looked thru my caterpillar reference book but had no success in finding this tiny specimen. As small as it is, I have doubts as to whether it will be ID'd, lol.

Nothing jumps out at us either
Any images from any different angles? Can we see the back or the top of the head?

Here are
2 more views of this critter. Neither of these is a very good shot because the focus and depth of field are off but the head is better shown in them.

We were thinking maybe related to Metarranthis
before, and now that head looks even more so. But, to be honest, we still don't know, except that Metarranthis might provide a lead for you.
