Cockroach - Periplaneta australasiae

Cockroach - Periplaneta australasiae
Lapeer, Lapeer County, Michigan, USA
November 5, 2007
Size: one inch long
I'm unsure of what species of roach this is. I sent images to an university and they believe it is Periplaneta australasiae in a juvenile form. Are they correct and has this insect been confirmed in Michigan yet?

Moved
Moved from Periplaneta. The ornate pattern is characteristic of this species.
