Veggie Monster Bug and Other Stuff
Hi Joan,

I think that bug is an Estigmene of some sort:

In Ontario, could be this Salt Marsh Moth (Estigmene acrea):

Critter likes peas and cabbage plants, among others...

I was hoping to find your email address, my friend, as I learned of some sad news about Jim Duncan yesterday: http://www.westviewfuneralchapel.com/pages/obituaries/details.php?p=3761

But I guess this bug forum will have to do. My email address is rmeingast@yahoo.com
I'm currently living in St. Thomas, Ontario, with my sister and mom. My sister works in London and I'm basically my mom's caregiver as she has numerous health issues. Been in St. Thomas for a little more than 2 years. Prior to that, we all lived in London, Ontario in separate abodes, but decided to move in together as mom's health became worse. We want to help mom stay at home for as long as possible.

Also sorry about Lorne Creighton's passing, as well as that of Steve Herr...

Bye for now and best wishes,
Randy
