Oecanthus nymph? - Oecanthus californicus

Oecanthus nymph? - Oecanthus californicus
CA-18 at Cactus Flat pullout, San Bernardino County, California, USA
August 13, 2018
Size: ca 15 mm
Beat from Pinyon Pine. Looks like a short-winged Oecanthus? I'm not seeing any dark markings at all on the underside of the antennae?

Nice photos
Appears to be a Western tree cricket male nymph. They often lack antennal markings. Note the 'pine' green tint of the wings and pronotum. One would guess it is a pictipennis form due to being found on a Pinyon pine. It is lighter than we would expect. Perhaps pictipennis also comes in a paler version, or perhaps it is very close to molting.

Thanks!
