Tersa Sphinx Moth - Xylophanes tersa

Tersa Sphinx Moth - Xylophanes tersa
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
August 15, 2018
Large moth I found, some kind of Sphinx moth? Wings are thin but it flies very well. Found it basking on warm concrete until I kidnapped it to take photos. I have since released it again. Turns out to be a Tersa Sphinx moth, thanks to John Miller for the ID.
