I said more like Anthicus cervinus. This was not an
identification. Best to wait for expert input.

I think more like Anthicus cervinus. Acanthinus spinicollis
has a spiny pronotum and occurs from s. TX south.

I missed it on my browse. I did notice some differences from A.spinicollis but having no expertise at all, I wasn't sure.
