I think you may have collected these a little too late. A number of the mines already had pupal exuviae sticking out, and now braconids are emerging from most of the others. However, on further reflection, these mines are much smaller than any Macrosaccus mines I've seen on other hosts.

Could be either Macrosaccus morrisella or Porphyrosela desmodiella--both of which are known from S. leiosperma rather than helvola.
