Small Jumping Spider - Hentzia mitrata

Small Jumping Spider - Hentzia mitrata
Norfolk, Virginia, USA
November 21, 2007
Size: 5mm
I saw a number of these little spiders at the tops of tall grass letting their webs spool out into the wind. There was enough wind to easily carry them aloft that day. Got some images before they departed :^)

They look like Genus Hentzia?

Yes, Hentzia
Looks like Hetzia mitrata.

Thanks Jay!
I see lots of these little spiders in this area. There must be a tribe of them somewhere nearby :^)

I wonder if I should frass these, since I already have a couple of images in the guide for November?
