Unidentified sawfly larvae -
Taxonus pallidicornis
Virgin Run Lake, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 19, 2018
Found on a shrub that I am not familiar with in a park in Westmoreland County, PA. It was eating the leaves and did not flinch when I moved the twig to get the pic.

Plant photos?
Did you get any photos of the shrub so that it can be identified? Always a good idea, since sawfly larvae are host-specific!

Sawfly larvae
No, Charley, I did not. But, I can drive out to the site and take one. It was right by a gravel parking lot, so I remember where it was. Thanks!
