Wright's Lake, El Dorado County, California, USA

Saw this butterfly near Wright's Lake, on the western fringes of the Desolation Wilderness. It seems to be a hairstreak, but none of the hairstreaks shown in my reference books have that wide band of light color on the hindwing. Can anyone help? Thanks to anyone with a clue!
