Size: 55 mm
Thorax, showing stridulatory apparatus on hind leg. Stridulation in stag beetle larvae says: The stridulatory apparatus of stag beetle larvae consists of a pars stridens on the coxae on the middle legs and a plectrum on the trochanter of the hind legs.
