Crackling Forest Grasshopper nymph - Trimerotropis verruculata

Crackling Forest Grasshopper nymph - Trimerotropis verruculata
Harvard, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
July 31, 2004
Identified by David Ferguson. He says it looks like Trimerotropis verruculata to him.

David, thanks for the info

ssp. verruculata
Seems this subspecies is divided between the generic species heading and the subspecies heading. There are only the two subspecies, so I thought I'd add this little tidbit.
