Coincidental chaffing of the pubesence? Apologies for the singular (and poor quality of the) photo; I had no knowledge of key ID features on mites prior to trying to find out more about this one. In excess of 2 mm.

Feel free to frass after giving it a look. Thanks!

Still have the specimen? I am researching the systematics of this group. This is surely a new species.
