Crambidae i.d., another candidate
Last night, I was researching another Crambid and came across this species: Sosipatra rileyella

Definitely found in Colorado. Thoughts?

.
That one looks really good.

possible Goya
Here are Paul Opler's comments: Moths off the genus Goya seem limited to the Southeast from what I can find on Google. Are there any shown in our western moth book? You're welcome to come and look through our collection some time. These sort of moths are best identified by dissection and/or by pyralid specialists.

Pam,
The renown Texas expert and collector, Ed Knudson, lists both species in his collection which was sent to the Maguire Center in Florida. In my humble opinion DNA is what is missing. I can't be sure, but some of his collection may post date the Powell/Opler publication. I will try to get is opinion on this.

perhaps G. stictella
As found here: https://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Goya-stictella

Thoughts? Pam

.
That was my suggested species.

Goya?
Hi Ann,

I see that MPG has only a record in Texas for this species. It is not mentioned in Moths of Western N. America. I am going to forward the photo to Paul and Chuck Harp and see if they comment, thanks, Pam

.
Possibly in my eyes. What were you thinking? I have thought I had Goya ovaliger here but have never been able to get a confirmation from BOLD. MPG does not show either Goyas to be found in Colorado.
