Adults - sparsely scaled with dark reflecting brassy to purplish, and obscure silvery spots distally on the costa and at the tornus, extended through the fringe (1)

widespread in the northeastern US, southern Canada and along the Pacific Coast from Alaska near Anchorage to Puget Sound, and the San Bruno Mountains on the San Fransisco Peninsula, CA (1)
Season
adults fly during May in Alaska, April in Washington, and March in California (1)

Larvae are leaf miners (blotch mines) of Ocean Spray Holodiscus discolor
