Backyard Bug - Pterodontia flavipes

Backyard Bug - Pterodontia flavipes
CHADRON, Dawes County, Nebraska, USA
August 1, 2018
Size: small
Found this little guy on my screen door when I got off of work one evening. He stayed on my screen door all night and left sometime late the next morning. I snapped some photos of it thinking I would be able to do a quick Google search to find out what it was. Nope.If someone could help me identify this bug I'd appreciate it.I'm going crazy over here.

Note the reddish scutellum here rules out P. vix, P. westwoodi, and P. misella...which all have scutellum black. Also, P. notomaculata has the anterior corners of the thorax reddish, while P. johnsoni is entirely black.
