Size: 3.5 mm
Inadvertently collected with handful of submersed Callitriche stems, shallows just downstream of Harvest Bridge, Neponset River.

.52 mm width of visible portion head capsule falls between 4th and 5th of 6 instars: Life Cycle, Growth, Survival, and Production of Macronychus glabratus (Coleoptera: Elmidae) in Northwest Arkansas and Southeast Texas Streams (Phillips, 1997)
