I assumed this was Spilosoma virginica, but then it occurred to me that Cycnia tenera was also an option. On swamp milkweed and I found an adult Delicate Cycnia last year... What do the lept-sperts think?

Not completely certain on this one, but we don't see the dark cores to the long hairs that Spilosoma has, so this seems right.

Thanks for your help. I'm kicking myself for not getting more photos, but I thought it was just another Virginian. That'll teach me to make assumptions!
