A type of mite?

A type of mite?
Yonkers, Westchester County, New York, USA
July 12, 2018
Sorry this is the only one I have that was able to catch and it's smushed and not a good photo. I caught another that was bright red, but the exterminator took it and said he would look at it under a microscope. He reported it was a bird mite, but they would go away on their own. Whatever they are, a bug has been crawling on me and biting me for months. The dermatologist first said the bites were from a bug, the biopsy said it could be from a mite (or something else), but now another dermatologist has indicated that I'm imagining things. Please bug people, is it possible that some sort of scabies and bird mite has combined and become pyrethrin /permethrin resistant lives on or in humans?

Moved from ID Request.

We would need a much better photograph to provide any sort of ID.
