Does the bicolored abdomen help on the ID? You can't see it very well in this picture, but the wings are solid dark colored.

Perhaps Calicurgus hyalinatus previously shown to us by Rob Broekhuis and identified by Eric Eaton. That's just a suggestion--I've no experience with these things.

I don't think so.
I don't think this specimen is even in the same subfamily. No obvious teeth on the hind tibia (which are present in Calicurgus). Possibly a species of Pompilus, but not certain.
