Fishing Spider with Small Leg - Dolomedes scriptus

Fishing Spider with Small Leg - Dolomedes scriptus
Brookeville, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
September 3, 2018
Size: Leg spred is about 2"
The spider is on the undercut of the bank of the Patuxent river just above the water line. Its back right leg appears much smaller than the rest with no hair. Could this be a regenerated leg? I think it is a White-banded Fishing Spider. I have another entry on Bug Guide that I think is the same spider from a different river. Thanks
