Moved, thanks for this
I created a page but will edit it later.

Dr. Bobbi Pritt and I will be adding this species to the next edition of our Arthropod Benchtop Guide (put out by the College American Pathologists) in 2019. I may reach out to you about getting some high-res images of this species. We want it on peoples' radars in case they start showing up in clinical labs.

Thanks!

Moved from ID Request.

Sure, I'll be happy to contribute.
This species is popping up all over the eastern US and was probably not found prior to 2017 because we didn't previously have keys for it, and because it superficially resembles some of our other North American species (e.g. Haemaphysalis leporispalustris).

Matt, I am ready to start editing images
Should I just download these? Or can you email high res to my email on my profile? You will get credit for image use. Thanks. Also for image credit I will need to know any professional titles (MS, PhD, etc.)
