Roach in house

Roach in house
Hanover, Howard County, Maryland, USA
September 10, 2018
Size: 3/4 inch
Found this roach on the carpet in my bedroom. My house is next to woods. I see these guys frequently outside around my pool, and occasionally in my unfinished basement and garage. Rarely upstairs in my house. Usually when I see them inside they're dead, but this one was alive. House is clean. From my research online, I thought they were either Pennslyvania wood roach, or smoky brown roach. Note there are horizontal black bands on the back. Color is reddish brown, and they don't seem to get very large.

Frassed, tentative ID given, image no longer needed...
Image will remain visible here for thirty days, and then be removed from the system. Thanks for joining Bugguide! :D

Moved from Cockroaches and Termites.

Looks like a Parcoblatta nymph to me...
Probably P.pennsylvanica. Not an indoor pest species, and they usually die within a week of being confined indoors, but since you live next to a wooded area, you'll probably be seeing them often.
