Funnel Wolf Spider - Sosippus californicus

Funnel Wolf Spider - Sosippus californicus
Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
November 28, 2007

Moved

Nope
Just Funnel-Web Spider, Agelenidae, unless you know something I don't (entirely possible)

I'm not sure
When I first found these guys I thought they were funnel web spiders then I was corrected. Apparently there is a wolf spider that spins a funnel type web. I have a hard time telling them apart but all the spiders in the one area I found this one has been the wolf spider.

I wondered about that
You're right, the eye-arrangement is definitely Wolf

I'll try and find this a home
