Spider Egg Sac. What kind of Spider tho? - Argiope aurantia

Spider Egg Sac. What kind of Spider tho? - Argiope aurantia
Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina, USA
September 12, 2018
Size: About an inch around
So I lift the hood of my old, and seldom used Dodge pickup, and see this guy sitting behind the passenger side headlight.
I took a pic and jokingly posted on Facebook that spiders were building a Death Star in my truck, then someone replies back saying it looks like a Black Widow Egg Sac to him. So I start my googling, pretty sure this doens't look like a BW Sac, but now I'm curious what will be hatching out of my old truck in the coming days or weeks.
Any ideas?
