One individual, nectaring on flowers with Carpenter and Leafcutter Bees, Syrphid flies, and Lovebugs. Pale stripes changed shade as the bee moved, sometimes yellow and others with a fair amount of orange.

Short antennae = ♀
She looks like a Norton's Nomia, Nomia nortoni. (widespread) However, there are still six other species for the guide, yet to be identified in the genus.
