Thanks Cliff it's interesting that a specimen I shot from last year, to me, looks a lot different but is same species. Quite a variation on the wing markings at least to this amateur!

Yes, Cloudless sulphurs are variable.
Males have limited markings and some have no markings. This specimen is a male and the one sighted last year is a female.
