re possible Dolomedes albineus ID
Very interesting Chad. I've been wondering why I consistently find this fishing spider hunting away from water. Find 2 Bug Guide comments on Dolomedes albineus: Ben Coulter "This species is found on trees and logs in woodland, often away from water." and Tony Bartlett "Generally an ID can be made by the white band along the 'face' (clypeus):". Believe your ID is exactly right - going back through my fishing spider pics all have the white band. Thanks for your help.
