Spragueia apicalis

Spragueia apicalis
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
September 22, 2018
Size: 22mm
Found molting on an ornamental Sweet Potato vine, but did not take to that as a host plant. The vine was growing over a patch of Carolina Bristlemallow (Modiola caroliniana) which was confirmed to be the host plant by presence of another individual and subsequent feeding of this one.
