Dicaelus elongatus Bonelli 1813

Size

14-19 mm(1)

Identification

Similar to D. dilatatus, but smaller, with longer humeral carina (2/3 elytral length), and 3 or more pairs of lateral setae on the pronotum(1)

Range

e. US (ME-FL to SD-TX) & so. ON(2)

Dry woods(1)

the sole member of the elongatus group(2)
